What FamilyTree.Team is
An information, community and documentation platform for families — family trees, memorials, life stories, and the Missing & Found network. It is not a police agency, forensic authority, medical authority or emergency service, and nothing here replaces them.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you write and upload. By publishing a memorial or a missing-person case you allow us to display it as you configured, and to translate or read it aloud for accessibility.
Missing & Found rules
Never fabricate a case, a sighting, a source or a confirmation. Unverified community reports are labelled as such. We may unpublish content that endangers a person, a family, or an investigation, and we cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
Acceptable use
No scams, extortion, harassment, impersonation, or fundraising without verification. No scraping of private family data. Abuse reports are reviewed by human moderators.
AI features
AI on this platform transcribes, translates, restores and summarizes — it does not declare facts. AI-assisted content is labelled, and verified human or authoritative information always takes precedence.
Liability
We work hard to keep the platform accurate and available, but community information may be wrong; verify critical matters with official sources. The service is provided as-is to the extent the law allows.
